A. Personification

This sentence contains an example of personification, in which a nonhuman object ("the beach") is given human attributes and features ("has been calling my name")  to represent an abstract idea inherent to human beings.

Readers can connect to these inanimate figures through personification.

Another example could be: "Clouds were running away".
