M(slope)=3

Point slope form is
Y=mx+b

Plug #s in
4=3(4)+b

Multiply the "3(4)"
4=12+b

Subtract the 12 to the other side.
8=b

Plug into point slope form.
M=3
B=8

Y=3x+8 is your answer
