Answer:

A) The waters of the Golf of Aden off the coast Somalia are a high traffic hulf.

Explanation:

Piracy on the Somali coast has been a threat to international maritime transport and fishing in Somali waters since the civil war that began in that country in the early 1990s. Since 2005, several organizations, including the International Maritime Organization and the World Food Program, expressed their concern about the increase of this type of acts. One of the means used by the international community to deal with this situation were naval military patrols organized in Operation Atalanta of the European Union, Operation Naval Shield of NATO and Task Force 150 of a coalition led by the United States, which operate in the Gulf of Aden, the Gulf of Oman, the Arabian Sea, the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean. As of 2011, it began to allow and generalize the hiring by the shipping companies of private security companies to protect their ships in the risk zone. Since 2011, there has been a marked decrease in the number of attacks on ships. The last boat hijacking by Somali pirates took place in 2012.
