A:
\(-7*13\)
Since there is only one -1, the expression is negative;
\(-7*13=91\)
B:
\(14*-2\)
Here as well, there is only one -1, so the expression is negative;
\(14*-2=-28\)
C:
\(\frac{-14}{-7}\)
The -1 cancels out;
\(\frac{14}{7} =2\)
D:
\(\frac{-42}{6}\)
Here, you can't cancel the -1 out, so it remains negative;
\(\frac{-42}{6} =8\)
