Given that:
Diameter = 5 cm
which means,
Radius= \(\frac{diameter}{2}\) = \(\frac{5}{2}\) = 2.5 cm (radius is half the diameter)
and Height = 2 cm
We can assume that the shape is cylindrical

Formula of the Surface Area of a Cylinder
=2\(\pi\)r² + 2\(\pi\)rh
=2\(\pi\)(2.5)² + 2\(\pi\)(2.5)(2)
=12.5\(\pi\) + 10\(\pi\)
=22.5\(\pi\) cm² (in terms of \(\pi\))
=70.69 cm² ≈ 70.7 cm²
