Verified Answer :

Right now, and it's 2016 already, the world's population was 7.5 billion, which means that it's impossible to have 8 billion - more than this today or before today - so it can only be in the future - in 2016, which is the correct answer.

It was 6 billion around 2000. and 7 billion around 2010.

Answer:

I would say the correct answer is by the year 2025.

Explanation:

The world's population has experienced a similar growth. In 1960, just under 3 billion people lived on the planet. By the year 2000, that number had doubled. The world's population has reached 7 billion and will continue to rise each minute. The world population is estimated to break 8 billion by 2025 and 10 billion by 2050. Use the link below to look at the estimated U.S. and World Population right now. The earth currently holds about 7,800,000,000 people or 7.8 billion.
