-12 + 40n = 40n - 60
40n = 40n - 60 + 12
40n - 40n = 60 + 12 (dont minus 40n - 40n yet, we can factorise it)

n = (60 + 12)/(40-40)
n = 60 + 12/ 0

Therefore no solution as we cannot divide by 0
