This is how I did it:
\(5(x + 6) + 11 = 25 - 3x\) use distribution
\(5x + 30 + 11 = 25 - 3x\) use addition
\(5x + 41 = 25 - 3x\) use addition and subtraction
\(8x = -16\) use division
\(x = -16/8\)
\(x = -2\)

So your answer is \(x = -2\)
