Answer D is correct. When cutting the lawn with a gas-powered lawn mower, you are releasing harmful nitrous oxide emissions into the air as pollution. This in turn contributes to global warming and damages the atmosphere. In contrast, using animal waste as fertilizer and composting fruit peels are both benefical to the environment and land. While throwing paint cans in the garbage is less environmentally friendly than recycling them, mowing the lawn with a gas-powered mower is still most harmful.
