The right option is; a. True

The Dust Bowl occurred as a result of drought and poor farming practices

The Dust Bowl is an environmental disaster that occurred in the Southern Plains region of the United States in the 1930s. The dust bowl was caused as a result of drought (severe water shortage) and a failure to apply proper farming practices to prevent wind erosion. Plants that kept the soil in place were destroyed by the severe drought. When high winds blew, chocking dust suffocated people and livestock were killed across the entire region.
