Drawing up architectural plans for the building because like prewriting, it is one of the first steps in the process. I hope that helps! :)

A.  drawing up architectural plans for the building

Prewriting can take the form of many different things.  Prewriting can be brainstorming where all you really need to do is think about ideas; however, you could write them down should you wish.  Clustering and freewriting are also forms of prewriting.  The type of prewriting that is most like drawing up architectural plans for a building would be outlining.  In outlining, you’ll create a plan that will allow you to visually organize your points and follow them in the creation of a paper in much the same way as building plans will be followed in the creation of a structure.
