we know that
Area of a circle is equal to
\(A=pi* r^{2}\)
where
\(r\)  is the radius

in this problem we have that
\(A=50 m^{2}\)
\(A=pi* r^{2} \\ r= \sqrt{A/pi} \\ r= \sqrt{50/pi}\)
\(r=4 m\)

we know that
the diameter is two times the radius
so
\(D=2r \\ D=2*4 \\ D=8 m\)
