first we have to write down what we know and that is 35ft of window trim is what he has and for each foot of the 35 is a $1.75. so-->35(1.75)--> this is 61.25 or $61.25. He used 100.00 to pay so he did not use all of the 100. 100-61.25= is how much salid should recieve back which is $38.75.
