It
was on the 6th of August 1945 when the United States dropped ‘Little
Boy’, an atomic bomb, to Hiroshima and ‘Fat Man’ on Nagasaki on August 9
killing an estimation of 200,000 people. Some of the reasons for the bombing
are the following:
US
wanted to end the war in an effective way (of winning) and fast strategy.
Compensating
the costly Manhattan project.
The
US wanted to make impression and possible partnership with the Soviet.
US
wanted to use their weapons as it is its sole purpose.
*Avenge
of the Pearl Harbor tragedy.
