In taking simvastatin, it should be taken at bed time or
during supper. If you are prescribed to
take this drug more than once a day, it should after a meal. It is taken for long-terms for periods for treating
high cholesterol but should stopped in case of surgery or medical
emergency. If you miss a dose, take the
dose you miss as soon as possible and if it was too long, take it on the next
schedule. If a patient overdoses on the
drug call for emergency medical assistance.
