Conductors are materials that allow current to flow through them. ost of these conductors are metals. the best conductors are, copper, silver, and gold. Others such as aluminium, zinc among others come after the three mentioned.
Materials such as wood and plastic are called insulators and they can not conduct current.
With this in mind we can conclude that the most common objects we can use to light the bulb are metals.
