Why does a year consist of 365 days and a day of 24 hours?
A year, 365 days, is the time it takes for the Earth to travel around the Sun. A day, 24 hours, is the time it takes for the Earth to spin around once on its axis.
because it takes 365 for earth to go one revolution around the sun, and 24 hours for earth to spin fully on its axis
