Environmentalism is mainly concerned about creating awareness about the importance of the environment to humans. It aims to: (a) change how people treat the environment, (b) protect the environment through public policy, and (c) make people aware of how they affect the environment. Therefore, the answer is (d) all of the above. Environmentalists believe that through caring for the environment, people can reduce the problems we are currently facing, like the climate change.
