6 (1.2)+7= ?...... multiply then add for. answer. 7.2+7= 14.2
2) since the miles Hanna runs is unknown it makes it n. Julie runs 3 miles less than twice hunny runs. Therefore it should be 2n-3.
3) you would subtract the regular number from both sides first so 55-40= 15.. the equation would then be 5s=15 then you would divide both sides by 5...making s=3.
4) you would add the sum of 8 to the product of 2 and y to get 24 so it should be 8+2y=24
