we have

\(R=\frac{E}{I}\)

Solve for I means that clear the variable I

Multiply by \(I\) both sides

\(RI=I\frac{E}{I}\)

\(RI=E\)

Divide by \(R\) both sides

\(RI/R=E/R\)

\(I=E/R\)

therefore

the answer is

\(I=E/R\)
