The distributive property states:

\(a(b+c) = ab + ac\)

Using that we get:

\(5\times (3+4)\\5(3+4) \\5(3) + 5(4)\\15 + 20\\35\)

You could also do it like:
\(5(3+4)\\5(7)\\35\)

So an expression that is equivalent to 5(3+4) is:

\(7(2+3)\)

That is your answer. It gets you the same final answer of 35.

Hope that helped :)
