An irrational number is a number than can't be put into a fraction. and is usually REALLY long number with decimal and does not have repeating numbers
A. 3/4 = 0.75 It is a fraction
B. √225 = 15 It is a whole number
C. √17 = 4.1231056245617.... It is an irrational number
D. 175.2845 It is not irrational and can be put into a fraction (\(175 \frac{569}{2000})\)
