To determine how many crash-related deaths there were in the U.S. in 2019, let's examine each option and see how they compare with the actual number of deaths.
1. less than 20,000: This option would mean that the number of crash-related deaths in 2019 was fewer than 20,000.
2. over 37,000: This option would mean that the number of crash-related deaths in 2019 was greater than 37,000.
3. over 80,000: This option would imply that the number of crash-related deaths in 2019 was more than 80,000.
4. zero: This option would mean there were no crash-related deaths in 2019.
Given the data, there were approximately 36,096 crash-related deaths in the U.S. in 2019.
Now, let's compare this number with each of the provided options:
- 36,096 is not less than 20,000.
- 36,096 is not over 37,000.
- 36,096 is not over 80,000.
- Therefore, the correct option based on the given data is zero.
So, the correct answer to the question is zero.
