1. First, we need to find the total parts in the ratio. The ratio is 3:7, so the total parts are 3 + 7 = 10.

2. Next, we need to find the value of each part. To do this, we divide the total number of sweets (120) by the total parts (10). So, 120 ÷ 10 = 12. This means that each part is equal to 12 sweets.

3. Now, we can find the number of sweets Kyle and Thabo will get. Kyle gets 3 parts, so he gets 3 × 12 = 36 sweets. Thabo gets 7 parts, so he gets 7 × 12 = 84 sweets.

4. Finally, we can check our work by adding the number of sweets Kyle and Thabo get together. 36 + 84 = 120, which is the total number of sweets.

So, Kyle gets 36 sweets and Thabo gets 84 sweets.
