To answer the question about the mean and median of grams of protein after adding Oreo cookies, let's follow a step-by-step process. Here, we'll use an example list of protein values from other vegan foods.

### Given Example List:
\(\[5, 7, 3, 6, 8, 4\]\)

### Step-by-Step Solution:

#### 1. Add Oreo's Protein Value to the List:
Oreo cookies contain 2 grams of protein per serving. Adding this to the existing list gives us:
\(\[5, 7, 3, 6, 8, 4, 2\]\)

#### 2. Calculate the New Mean:
The mean is the average of all the values in the list. To find the mean, we first sum all the values and then divide by the number of items in the list.

Sum of the values:
\(\[5 + 7 + 3 + 6 + 8 + 4 + 2 = 35\]\)

Number of items in the list:
\(\[7\]\)

Mean:
\(\[\frac{35}{7} = 5.0\]\)

So, the mean number of grams of protein is \(\(5.0\)\).

#### 3. Calculate the New Median:
The median is the middle value in a list when the values are arranged in ascending order. If there is an even number of values, the median is the average of the two middle numbers.

Arrange the list in ascending order:
\(\[2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8\]\)

Since there are now 7 values in the list (an odd number), the median is the middle value.

Median:
The middle value is the 4th value (since \(\(\frac{7 + 1}{2} = 4\)\)):
\(\[5\]\)

So, the median number of grams of protein is \(\(5.0\)\).

### Final Results:
- The mean number of grams of protein is \(\(5.0\)\).
- The median number of grams of protein is \(\(5.0\)\).

Thus, the mean and median grams of protein per serving after adding Oreo cookies to the list are both \(\(5.0\)\).
