Final answer:

When presenting visual aids during a speech, a speaker should display the aid only when discussing it, explain it clearly, and ensure it is visible to the audience.

Explanation:

When presenting visual aids during a speech, a speaker should:

  • Only display the visual aid while discussing it.
  • Explain the visual aid clearly and concisely.
  • Display the visual aid where listeners can see it.

It is important to make a clear connection between your words and the visual aid for the audience, avoid distracting the audience with the visual aid, and speak to the audience, not just to the visual aid.
