Verified Answer :

Answer:

D. The most valuable thing is the joy we have in the present.

Explanation:

The myth of the spider in the Buddhist temple teaches us the importance of finding contentment and happiness in the present moment. Despite the spider's humble surroundings in the temple, it is described as being joyful and content with its life. This serves as a reminder that true value and happiness can be found within ourselves and our present circumstances, rather than constantly seeking fulfillment in future ambitions or the approval of others. Therefore, the lesson emphasizes the significance of appreciating and finding joy in the present moment.
