Verified Answer :

take wholesale cost and multiply it by 95%, then add to the original value
another way, just multiply by 1.95

Retail cost:  1.95*($99.50) = $194.03

The selling price should be $194.025.

Given that,

  • The cost of the sled is $99.50.
  • And, the markup percentage is 95%.

Based on the above information, the calculation is as follows:

\(= \$99.50 \times 1.95\)

= $194.025

Here we multiply the selling price with the markup percentage.

Therefore we can conclude that the selling price should be $194.025.
