\(2^{10}\) (2 to the 10th power) is just a shorthand for "10 2's mutliplied together."
Say we had \(2^2\). That would be 2 twos multiplied together, which is 4.
\(2^3\) would be 8, \(2^4\) would be 16...
\(2^5=32,\ 2^6=64,\ 2^7=128,\ 2^8=256,\ 2^9=512,\ \boxed{2^{10}=1024}}\)
