evaluate each function
evaluate each function
I am going to give you all the answers after I explain how to answer these questions by yourself. Basically, just substitute the numbers into the function accordingly.
For example, lets say I have the arbitrary function:
\(f(x)=6x+2\)
If I want to calculate\(f(1)\) of that function, replace all \(x\)'s with 1.
\(f(1)=6(1)+2\)
\(=f(1)=6+2\)
\(=f(1)=8\)
Done! Lets try calculating \(f(2)\)
\(f(2)=6(2)+2\)
\(=f(2)=12+2\)
\(=f(2)=14\)
Those are just some examples. There are many. Without further ado, here are the answers:
1)-2
2)4
3)10
4)-36
5)16
6)30
7)6
8)61
Thank you, and I hope that helped you.
