Hi I just have a question how do you divide 18/32 with out a calculator.


If I divide it in a piece of paper it comes out a different answer that is not correct the one that is correct is the one that comes out in the calculator 18/32= 0.5625


so i need to know how to divide 18/32 without a calculator because in my test calculators are not allowed thank you .

first set it up like this:\(32 \sqrt{18}\)
then add a zero on to the 18 and a decimal point like this: \(32 \sqrt{18.0}\)
then solve for 180/32 and add a decimal in the same location that it is in the 18.0 Hope this helps!
