This isn't a homework question but rather a technological problem. I connected my device to the motherboard but it will not detect it (see image). If there is any computer please help. It will be greatly appreciated:)
have you tried the other USB port? also what is the device you're trying to connect? if it's a phone, not all USB wires will work, it'll definitely charge the phone, but you cannot read the phone storage thing.
