Verified Answer :

the answer is the first one "drafted the Missouri Compromise"

Answer:

A is the correct option.

Explanation:

It was the compromise of 1820 by the House of Representatives and the US senate. The main purpose of the compromise was to balance the power between the free and slave holding states. There was a fear among the slave holding states that they would become outnumbered in the congressional representation and would also lack power. Also that they won't be able to protect their trade and property interests. It was passed in the Senate on March 2nd, 1820. and in the house on 26th February 1821. The Missouri compromise was signed by President James Monroe.
