Looking for shelter because it is occuring outside of your thoughts.
Hope this Helps.

Answer:

Looking for a shelter.

Explanation:

External conflict displays a conflict or struggle between a character and an outside force which may be nature or other characters. This description is best justified by third option "looking for shelter during a thunderstorm" where the character has a clash with nature and he strives to combat this whereas the other three options exemplify the internal conflict which lies inside the selves and emerges out of moral and ethical impasses. Thus, it may be concluded that the other third one illustrates the external conflict.
