for three squares= 3 13^2 

the 15 foot square = 1515 = 15^2

Thus

Area of the Three rooms = 3 × 13²

As given

Area of two rooms = 2 × 15²

Total area of the five rooms = Area of the Three rooms + Area of two rooms

                                             = 3 × 13²  + 2 × 15²

                                             = 3 × 169 + 2 × 225

                                             = 507 + 450

                                             = 957 unit²

Therefore the total area of the five rooms be 957 unit².
