ogechukwubenedict

Answer: A. Bravado

Explanation: When message of the advancing army was brought to Macbeth, he said thus:

"I will not be afraid of death and bane,

Till Birnam forest come to Dunsinane."

In this he was relying on the prophecy of the witches he was given at an earlier time. Macbeth showed bravado which simply means a swaggering show of defiance and courage. Option A is therefore correct.
