The ratio is 4:7.

Multiply both sides until the men's side reaches 60. We find how much we multiply by with a division:

\(\frac{60}{4} = 15\)

Multiply both sides by 15:

\((4*15):(7*15) = 60 : 105\)

So there are 60 men and 105 women for a total of 165 people.
