GPS technology is helpful in airplanes and ships because in planes it helps the pilot know exactly were they are without going off course, and it also allows planes to not accidentally run into each other. On boats, many ships get lost at sea because they thought they were headed somewere, but went in the wrong direction, and it also helps them know how far from shore they are. Hope that was helpful!
