According to his mother, the meaning of Gilgamesh's dream is that (2.) he will meet someone, whom he will introduce to his mother.
In Epic of Gilgamesh, Ninsun, who is a goddess and also Gilgamesh's mother, interprets his son's dream and tells him that a new man will come to him and will become his friend. Later in the story, the reader realizes that this man is Endiku. In that way, Ninsun does not fail at intepreting Gilgamesh's dreams, which include different symbols, such as the meteor and the axe.
