What is the relationship between changes in air pressure and wind speeds? PLEASE HELP! ME IN SCIENCEĀ
Air that moves quickly from one pressure gradient to another creates fast, or strong, winds. The speed of wind is also determined by a deflection of wind's straight pattern along the earth's surface, known as theĀ Coriolis effect, as well as friction that causes it to slow down.
I believe it's When a high and low-pressure air mass are far apart, Air moves quickly from high to low pressure. If that's not right then it's when a high and a low-pressure air mass are far apart, Air moves quickly from low to high pressure. (I'm in k12)
