the correct answer is:      They lean towards the light

The correct answer is option D

The plants can obtain sunlight by leaning towards the sunlight. Plants have developed many techniques to to capture the maximum amount of light from the sun by the help of the green leaves.

In most of the cases they move towards the sunlight to be able to generate the energy by the process of photosynthesis. This is due to the auxin hormone that the movement of plant takes place towards sunlight.
