remember order of operations and
\(x^{-m}= \frac{1}{x^m}\) so
simplify the exponent first

\((-m)^{-3}= \frac{1}{(-m)^3}= \frac{1}{-m^3}\)
now multiply by n
\(\frac{n}{-m^3}\)

n=-24
m=2


\(\frac{-24}{-2^3}\)
\(\frac{-24}{-8}\)
3

the result is 3
