Men and women of high crime areas which are predominantly in low income communities are prone to experience violence whether they're accidentally hit or are drawn into the realm of violence such as gangs. Also it can be influenced by a persons actions. Nowadays if a person does an unfavorable act such as making a change (MLK Jr) or simply smarting off (average teenager) they're more likely to experience violence.
