Which lines in this excerpt from act V of Romeo and Juliet show that the Capulet-Montague feud has brought tragedy not only to the two families but also to other families in Verona?

ASee, what a scourge is laid upon your hate,

BAnd I for winking at your discords too

Have lost a brace of kinsmen: all are punish'd.

Answer:

B) And I for winking at your discords too

Have lost a brace of kinsmen: all are punish'd.

In these lines, the Prince of Verona is reflecting on the enmity that existed between the Capulet and the Montague, which led to the tragic events of the play. The prince states that even though he knew of this situation for a long time, he decided to ignore it. The consequence was that he also lost family members in the chaos that was caused by this hate, and everyone was hurt in the process.
