I am doing solving by elimination for Algebra 1 and I am lost here is the question

-2x-3y=-13

-3x-2y=-2

you have to rearrange into the format y=mx+b.

-2y=-2+3x
y=1+3/-2x

-2(x)-3(1+3/-2 x ) = -13
-2(x)-3+9/2x+13=0
5/2 x + 10 = 0
5/2 x = -10
x = -4

-2(-4)-3y=-13
8-3y=-13
-3y=-21
y = 7
