BD would be exact half than AE
AE = 2 BD
4x + 20 = 2(3x + 5)
4x + 20 = 6x + 10
6x - 4x = 20 - 10
2x = 10
x = 5

2) BD = 3x+5 = 3(5) + 5 = 15 + 5 = 20

3) AE = 4x + 20 = 4(5) + 20 = 20 + 20 = 40
