Pathos is an emotional argument. It's a fallacy in which the speaker's goal is to make the audience emotional about a certain topic with the intention of convincing such an audience of the speaker's point of view. It targets shared feelings and cultural values with the goal of having the listener relate to what is being said.

That is precisely what we have in option A. 90 percent of people who exercise daily reported greater life satisfaction. Work out and you will be happy! The speaker is appealing to a very specific emotion: happiness. By claiming that readers will feel happy if they exercise, the speaker hopes to achieve the goal of convincing them to do it. Instead of using logic, for instance, by claiming that people who work out have a decreased chance to develop certain illnesses, the speaker chooses to tackle emotions. "Don't do it because it's healthy. Don't do it to change your body. Do it because you will feel good, happy!"
