Do FOIL (First, outer, inner, last)(x-3)(x-4)multiply the x's since they are firstthen multiply -4 and xthen multiply -3 and xthen multiply -3 and -4putting it all together gives you x^2-4x-3x+12simplify and it will be x^2-7x+12
