In order to find out each of these, you have to multiply 2.5% (.025) by the price of the car.
For Car 1: 0.025 times 23,000 is equal to $575
For Car 2: 0.025 times 16,000 is equal to $400
For Car 3: 0.025 times 9500 is equal to $237.50
When you add these all together you will get the amout Monica earned last month. 
575 + 400 + 237.50 = 1212.50
