A mouse eats 100 times his own weight in grain in a lifetime. You can see that plants must produce a great amount of food for just one mouse. What do you think would happen if grain was no longer available for the mouse to eat? How would it affect other organisms in your ecosystem?
If it wasnt available the mouse could find another food source or would die of no food
That would affect other animals by them not having a main food in their life or they would die if they couldnt find anything else Hope this helps Hugs ~L
As there are no grass or grains available for the mouse to eat then the mouse can not survive for a longer duration and may have to change its course or may die due to starvation and hence the resulting in the no food for the higher tropic levels and thus create a disturbance in the ecological food chain.
